Where We Are Going

November 2006 - Lake Pleasant

 
Where: Lake Pleasant Regional Park
Go west from I-17 on Lake Pleasant Road. Take the Castle Hot Springs turn off and about 2 miles from the Lake Pleasant Road is the turn of to the park entrance.
When: November 8 through 10, leaving on the 1th
Hosts: This will be a no-host camp The regular pot-luck will be on Thursday evening and it is a Briing your own main dish and a side dish to share. Note: The guys will be responsible for the side dishes and cleanup!!
Costs: Camp fees of $19/ night for Electric & Water hookups
Facilities: There is a dump station, restrooms & showers.

If you arrive in time on Wednesday, the nearby Challenger Space Center is featuring a visual look at the planet Mercury as it makes a transit across the sun. This happens every ten years or so and sometimes is visible from the southwest.  Admission is $6 for adults, $4 for seniors and children.
