December, The Annual Christmas Party
Unlike many parts of this country where snow, wind and cold make getting together to celebrate the season difficult, we here enjoyed one of those perfect days.
A nice group gathered at the Spigners home for an afternoon of fellowship,
catching up and renewing friendships. There were lots of nuts and
snacks sitting out to be enjoyed as we talked. Later there was time
for singing some Christmas songs.
Then
the main event, a huge ham with lots of wonderful and tasty side
dishes for the main meal of the day. The conversations continued
almost non-stop until it was time to migrate to the living room for
the gift
exchange.
Having enjoyed all the decorations and the Holiday atmosphere we are now ready for the major event of this Christmas Season, the opportunity to gather with family and other friends and celebrate.
This day became complete as everyone returned home safely after the party.
